Balsamic Glaze for Lamb

This is a wonderful glaze for when you are making lamb. I especially love it with rack of lamb, but it goes with well with any cut.


  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ¾ cup balsamic vinegar
  • ½ cup red wine
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp minced rosemary
  • 2 Tbsp red peppercorns,crushed


  • Small sauce pan


  1. Add glaze ingredients into a small saucepan and bring to boil.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer until mixture thickens, about 10-15 minutes.
  3. Brush on lamb before cooking, while cooking and after cooking.

This is a great glaze. Just had it on some lamb leg steaks. Brush on the glaze, slap ‘m on the grill — lovely.
