There’s nothing like a holiday gathering with family to send one screaming for the cocktail cabinet. So why not kick your holiday feast off with a festive pumpkin cocktail that will whet their appetites and get them talking about good times instead of criticizing the food.


  • 2 parts vanilla vodka
  • 1 part Bailey’s Irish cream
  • 1 part pumpkin spice syrup
  • crushed graham crackers (garnish for rim)


  • Cocktail shaker
  • Martini glasses
  • Food processor
  • 2 small plates


  1. Chill cocktail glasses in freezer.
  2. Process graham crackers into a fine powder and pour onto a small plate.
  3. Pour a few drops of spiced syrup into the second plate.
  4. Remove chilled glasses, wet the rims by rolling them in the spiced syrup.
  5. Gently roll the rims in the crushed graham crackers.
  6. Add vodka, Bailey’s, spiced syrup and ice to cocktail shaker.
  7. Cover and shake.
  8. Pour into graham crackers rimmed glasses.
  9. Serve and enjoy.

Not only is this a fun drink, but the Pumpkintini is actually really good too. We made them for our guests last year and had a terrific time. Silly as it sounds the the Pumpkintini is now a holiday classic in our family.

You should be able to purchase a bottle of pumpkin spice syrup form any well stocked liqueur store. You can also purchase from Amazon.com. See the link below for details.
